Currently we are anticipating the completion of two boutique developments; One Marine Parade and 88 Main Street, Kangaroo Point. Both are expected to be completed in late June / early July.
Located directly under the iconic Storey Bridge, our whole-floor apartment development is located in the heart of one of Brisbane’s oldest suburbs.
Kangaroo Point is one of our earliest settled suburbs and as a result is rich in culture and history. 88 Main Street itself is a cultural hub, with the Storey Bridge Hotel located halfway down, and Captain Burke Park located at the end of Main Street.
Located just 4km from the CBD and close to Fortitude Valley, Kangaroo Point is home to nearly 7,000 residents (REIQ). The size of the suburb's rental market has grown strongly nearly doubling in size during the past ten years. Investors are still the main buyers in Kangaroo Point, who are more or less guaranteed an income from the large population of student tenants who study at Shaftson College.
The Kangaroo Point cliffs are a Brisbane landmark, and surprisingly they were formed not by nature but by early mining. They are a popular recreational spot, especially for picnicking, walking, climbing and abseiling.
The Storey Bridge itself is another famous Brisbane landmark and it frames our development from overhead.
Our whole-floor apartment development boasts the finest finishes and quality appliances. Each apartment features a fully-equipped, top of the range Gaggenau kitchen, as well as timeless colour schemes, smooth wool carpeting and custom designed fittings for the bathrooms.
The marketing team went on-site at 88 Main Street last week to have a look at how the development is coming along. Both the first and second floors are cemented and ready to be framed and gyprocked.
It was an amazing experience to be able to stand on the second floor scaffolding and see the view the apartments will have. There are 280° views of the Brisbane river over Captain Burke Park and a picturesque display of the city to the left-hand side.
These views will never be built out.
Below are some photos from our visit:
The above photo was taken standing on the third floor scaffolding and slab - as you can see, the view from this floor is breathaking, and there are still three more floors to come!
